1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
This technological instruction is designed in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On Plant Quarantine", "Pro zabezpechennya sanіtarnogo that epіdemіchnogo blagopoluchchya population", "About pesticides i agrohіmіkati", "On Protection of natural navkolishnogo seredovischa", "On Protection pratsі", "Recommendations on safe use of pesticides in ships' by the International Maritime Organization (IMO - International Maritime Organization 2002), "Interim Regulations on technology and security for disinfection of grain and agricultural preparations based on phosphine on ships sailing charter of Ukraine" in 1999, the State Health Regulations "Transport, storage and use of pesticides in the national economy» № 184.108.40.206.001-98 and "Safety instructions for the storage, transportation and use of pesticides in agriculture" and is intended for internal use of "GRASP".
This instruction defines the techniques and technology of disinfection in transit and at the pier and wood grain cargo in the holds of ships, containers, silos, warehouses, railway cars using drugs based on phosphine entered in the Register of pesticides approved for use in Ukraine. 3.1. PREPARATORY WORK

5. The list of buildings and open spaces of the vessel which must be checked in flight for gas leaks at least once a day;

Based on the inspection of the vessel at the data, and based on the structural features of the vessel, the physicochemical properties of the fumigant, temperature and nature of the cargo, its moisture content, duration of the voyage, and other factors to determine the possibility, conditions and technologies for effective disinfection of cargo.

"Checking the gas concentration in the holds, as well as in residential and industrial premises, vessel, should be carried out during the voyage, at least every eight hours or more frequently if recommended by the representative of the fumigation company. The reading should be recorded in the logbook. "
That is, at least three times a day is necessary to conduct measurements of gases.
